What will I receive?
Based on the “Ginscription" membership you choose, you will receive:
- 1 50-70cl bottle of craft French gin
- 1-2 premium tonics or mixers, depending on size (150cl-330cl)
- A Meet-the-Maker Guide
- A gin-related goody
- A discount voucher to purchase more gin from our Boutique. The discount voucher is only valid towards the purchase of gin.
Will I know in advance which gin I will be receiving?
No, we do not reveal the gins and tonics or mixers in advance. Part of the fun in receiving a subscription box is the element of surprise and the anticipation of unboxing and enjoying an exciting gift to themselves.
What type of Ginscription memberships do you offer?
We offer a recurring membership, as well as a 2-Box Prepay, 3-Box Prepay, or 6-Box Prepay subscription. To allow yourself enough time to enjoy your full bottle of gin, we ship all membership boxes on a bi-monthly (every other month) basis only.
Are there any hidden fees or additional costs?
No, we don’t give surprises at the checkout, and we do not charge membership or handling fees. However, shipping is NOT included in the price of the box. We use La Poste Colissimo home delivery 48h service for a flat fee per box of 9,99€. For those subscribers living in the tri-country border of Basel, Switzerland, we offer the possibility of picking up your box on a designated date and location.
How do I cancel my membership?
If you’ve signed up for a bi-monthly recurring membership, this is not a problem. Just email us by the 25th of the month prior to your box shipment, and we’ll make sure you do not receive any more boxes and no more payments shall be debited. If you’ve bought a 2-, 3-, or 6-Box Prepaid membership, we will NOT be able to refund for any unused portion, but you can stop receiving any future boxes if you wish. Alternatively, you can nominate a friend to start receiving your unused portion, just email us by the 25th of the month prior to your box shipment.
When will I be billed?
If you signed up for a bi-monthly recurring membership, you will be billed for your first box when you place your order. Starting with the second box, you will be billed every other month on the 1st of the month of the box delivery. Credit/Debit cards will be automatically debited on a recurring basis until canceled. 2-Box, 3-Box, and 6-Box Prepaid Memberships will be paid in total, upfront, along with all shipping costs. If you would like to continue receiving boxes after the prepaid period ends, you will need to sign into your account and purchase a new subscription.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept credit card payments via Stripe.
Are my credit card details secure?
Our payment page is secure. We use Stripe (via ReCharge) as our payment processor.
Do you ship outside of France?
Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot ship outside of France. However, if you are located in the tri-country border area of Basel (i.e., France, Switzerland, or Germany) you can collect your box in Leymen, France on a specified date and location.
When will I receive my box?
Our first box, December 2018, will be exceptionally shipped around the 19thof December to ensure Christmas delivery. Boxes are sent via La Poste Colissimo 48h service. All following boxes in 2019 will be shipped the first week of the box month (i.e., February, April, June, August, October, December). If you have chosen to collect your box in Leymen, France, you will be notified at least one week in advance of the pick-up date and location.
Where will my box be shipped?
All boxes will be shipped to the shipping address specified on the order. If you need to make a modification to the shipping address, you will be able to do so inside your account. Updates will need to be made by the 25thof the month prior to the shipment month.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are NOT included in the costs of the boxes. The cost per box is 9,99€ to anywhere in the France metropolitan area and Corsica via La Poste – Colissimo home delivery 48h service.
May I suspend delivery?
You may suspend delivery for one box on any membership, in any 12-month period. We ask that you email us at email@example.com by the 25th of the month prior.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
What if my bottle(s) arrived broken or damaged?
When receiving a box, you are required to carefully check the condition and conformity of the delivered products. Our boxes are carefully packed and protected, so in the unlikely event that damage/breakage occurs during shipment, you have 14 days after receiving your box to file a complaint. You must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and describe the damage. We will examine the complaint and reserves the right to ask for proof of the damage to evaluate the complaint. Following our express agreement, you may return the box within 14 days of receiving the agreement. We may then propose a partial or total refund of the amount of the box and shipping.
May I purchase a gift subscription for someone else?
Of course, and boy are you going to be appreciated! To purchase as a gift, please select a subscription and add the gift recipient’s details in the shipping address section of the checkout process. Please also specify GIFT in the Notes field. You can also write a personalized message in the Notes field.
How can I get more gin?
Our Boutique is planned to open in January 2019. Gins and tonics featured in a previous box will be for sale in our online Boutique approximately two weeks after the box has been shipped. Don't forget to use the discount code you received in your box towards the purchase of more gin.
