What do I get?
All "Ginscriptions" French gin box subscriptions include:
- A 50-70 cl bottle of artisanal French gin
- Two premium tonics or mixers (150cl-330cl)
- Guide (s) to meet the producer in French and English
- A fun and useful gin-related gift (this could be a small bottle of alcohol, toppings, snacks, bar tools, etc. valued at € 10 or less).
- Tasting notes
- A gin-based cocktail recipe
- A 10% discount voucher to buy more gin in our e-Boutique. The discount voucher is only valid for the purchase of the gin presented in the box.
What type of "Ginscriptions" subscription packages do you offer?
We offer a recurring subscription, as well as a 2-Box prepaid, 3-Box prepaid or 6-Box prepaid subscription (which make great gifts!). In order to give you ample time to enjoy your full bottle of gin, we ship all boxes on a bi-monthly basis (every two months) only.
Are there any hidden charges or additional charges?
No, there are no surprises at checkout, and we don't charge a membership or handling fee. However, shipping costs are NOT included in the price of the box unless otherwise indicated). We use the Colissimo home delivery service from La Poste with signature or delivery to a Collection Point of your choice, Mondial Relay delivery to a Relay Point of your choice, Chronopost Shop2Shop delivery to a store of your choice, UPS home delivery with signature or delivery to an Access Point of your choice. For subscribers / customers residing in Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain or Italy, delivery by Mondial Relay is available. For subscribers residing in the three neighboring countries of Basel, Switzerland, we offer the possibility of collecting your box order (or your e-Boutique order) free of charge on a specific date and place.
How can I cancel my subscription?
If you've signed up for a recurring bimonthly subscription, that's okay. Just send us an email to e-mail before the 25th of the month preceding your box shipment, and we will make sure that you no longer receive boxes and that no payment is debited. If you have purchased a 2, 3 or 6 Box prepaid subscription, we will NOT be able to refund the unused portion, but you can stop receiving future boxes if you wish. You can also designate a friend to start receiving the unused part, just send us an email before the 25th of the month before the box is sent.
When will I be billed?
If you have taken out a recurring bimonthly subscription, you will be billed for your first box when you place your order. From the second box, you will be billed every two months, on the 1st of the month of box delivery. Credit / debit cards will automatically be charged on a recurring basis until canceled. 2-Box, 3-Box, and 6-Box Prepaid subscriptions will be paid in full, in advance, along with all shipping costs. If you want to continue receiving boxes after the prepayment period ends, you will need to log into your account and purchase a new subscription.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept credit card payments through Stripe, PayPal, and ApplePay.
Are my credit card details secure?
For additional fraud protection, our payment page uses 3-D Secure payment verification. We use Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe is a PCI Level 1 service provider, which represents the highest level of payment processing security.
Do you ship outside of France?
We can deliver to some countries of the European Union outside of France (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal and Italy). Please note that the subscriber / customer is responsible for any taxes and customs duties that may apply to delivery to their country.
If you are in the border area of the three Basel countries (i.e. France, Switzerland or Germany), you can pick up your order free of charge in Leymen, France, on a specific date and location. . If you are located in Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Germany or Switzerland, near the French border, you can choose to have your order shipped to a distribution center in France. Colissimo Point Withdrawal or one Mondial Relay Point Relais of your choice in France.
When will I receive my box subscription?
All of the following box products will be shipped around the 5th of the month (i.e. February, April, June, August, October, December). Please refer to our Shipping schedule. If you have chosen to pick up your box in Leymen, France, you will be notified a week in advance of the pickup date and location.
Where will my box subscription be shipped?
All box products will be shipped to the delivery address indicated on the order. If you need to change the delivery address, you can do so in your account. Updates should be made before25 of the month preceding the month of shipment.
How much does it cost to ship a box subscription?
Shipping costs are NOT included in the costs of the boxes. In March 2021, the shipping costs per box are between € 6.88 and € 13.92 everywhere in mainland France and Corsica via La Poste - Colissimo home delivery with signature, Colissimo Point Withdrawal service, Chronopost Shop2Shop, Mondial Relay Point Relais, UPS home delivery with signature or UPS Access Point. Shipping costs to certain EU countries via Mondial Relay vary by country.
Can I suspend the delivery of a box subscription?
You can suspend delivery for a box on any membership, in any 12 month period. We ask you to send us an email at email@example.com the 25th of the previous month.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
What if my bottle (s) arrived broken or damaged?
When receiving a box / order, you are required to carefully check the condition and conformity of the products delivered. Our shipping boxes are carefully packed and protected. Thus, in the unlikely event that damage / breakage occurs during shipping, you have 14 days after receipt of your box / order to file a complaint. You must send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and describe the damage. We will investigate the complaint and reserve the right to request proof of damage to assess the complaint. As a result of our express agreement, you can return the box within 14 days of receiving the agreement. We can then offer you a partial or total refund of the amount of the box and shipping costs.
Can I buy a gift subscription for someone else?
Of course, and you will be greatly appreciated! To purchase as a gift, please select a subscription and add the contact details of the gift recipient in the delivery address section of the ordering process. Please also specify "GIFT" in the "Notes" field. You can also write a personalized message in the "Notes" field. Your message will be printed on a gift card and the gin bottle will be wrapped with decorative ribbon at no additional cost.
How can I get more gin?
Gins featured in a previous box will go on sale in our online store approximately two weeks after the box has been shipped. Remember to use the discount code you received in your box towards purchasing more gin.
